What to expect during a Reflexology treatment

Treatment is generally relaxing, though some areas may feel tender, often reflecting areas of imbalance or tension in the body. Is foot reflexology ticklish? Reflexology uses firm, confident pressure rather than light touch, so most people do not find it ticklish.

After your session

Drink plenty of water for the next 24 hours and rest for at least two hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, caffeine, and other stimulants. Light, nutritious food can support your body’s natural healing.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies. Some people feel benefits straight away, while others notice improvements to mood, sleep, or wellbeing over a series of sessions. Many people benefit from weekly sessions at first, then gradually spacing treatments to fortnightly or monthly as symptoms improve. Frequency depends on your individual health needs—acute issues may respond quickly, while chronic or complex conditions can take longer. Most people notice positive changes within 3–6 sessions.
